KÜNAsist is an AI-powered academic assistant developed as part of Cappadocia University’s 20th-year vision. Trained on the university’s scientific knowledge, the system reduces the days-long efforts of faculty in preparing course content, producing assessment materials, and conducting analyses to just minutes, allowing academics to focus on teaching.
Designed through a six-month needs analysis conducted by the Artificial Intelligence Commission and ÖĞEK, KÜNAsist generates original questions using a multi-agent architecture that operates within a production-analysis-feedback loop, evaluates pedagogical alignment based on Bloom's taxonomy, and offers development recommendations. This architecture involves Question Generation, Analysis, Competency Mapping, and Ethical Control agents working together, finely tuned with an academic spirit.
The platform automates routine processes such as assessment, evaluation, and course material management, relieving faculty of the “invisible workload” and freeing up time for research and student engagement. Tested in pilot applications with faculty from over 20 disciplines, the system has proven its reliability and data security.
Set to be implemented across Cappadocia University in the 2025-2026 academic year, KÜNAsist will boost faculty productivity with its fully ethics-compliant, isolated working environment, while providing students with a more measurable and interactive learning experience. In higher education, it’s no longer routines but ideas that take the stage.
